Why wait to break in a new pair of shoes when you can buy them fully equipped with dirt, duct tape, and frayed laces?
The high-end department store, Barney’s is selling the Distressed Superstar Sneakers designed by Golden Goose for $600. That kind of money for sneakers sounds outlandish, and when you see what these kicks look like, it won’t make it much better.
The sneakers are designed with dirt stains, duct tape accents, frayed laces, and anything else that is used to make something look dirty. If you’re going for a look like that, you can spend a lot less than $600 a pair!
Take an old pair of running shoes, throw some duct tape on them, drop them in a mud puddle and call it a day.
